How publishing works
Three steps, no submission fee, and a decision inside two weeks.
Submit
Upload your manuscript, abstract, and a short bio. No submission fee, no institutional login required.
Editorial review
A reviewer with agricultural-science background checks for rigor and clarity, and works with you on revisions within 10 business days.
Published & indexed
Your paper gets a permanent page, a citation record, and full search and AI-answer-engine indexing.
Four things every submission needs
Real data or field observations
A literature review alone isn't enough — we're looking for original work, even a small field trial or a focused survey.
A plain-language summary
Alongside your technical abstract, so a non-specialist reviewer, funder, or search engine can follow what you found.
A named, contactable author
A real person we can reach with questions — not a departmental inbox or a group submission with no clear contact.
Rights to publish
Original work, or work you hold the rights to republish with attribution — see our disclaimer for how that's handled.
Built for what comes next
Graduate program applications
A public, citable page to link in an application instead of a PDF attachment — with a summary reviewers can skim in under a minute.
Grants & fellowships
A track record that compounds. Every paper adds to a public body of work funders can verify without emailing you for a copy.
Extension & first jobs
One link that shows what you actually researched — readable by a hiring manager and indexable by the recruiters searching for you.
Is there a submission fee?
No — publishing is free during launch, and reading is always free. There's no plan for that to change; see our Pricing page for the full picture.
Can I submit work already published elsewhere?
Only if you hold the rights to republish it, with clear attribution to the original venue — we state that attribution on the paper's own page. Original, unpublished work is welcome too.
What disciplines do you cover?
Agronomy, soil science, plant pathology, farm economics, agri-engineering, agri data science, and more — see the full list on our Disciplines page.
How long does review take?
A reviewer with an agricultural-science background typically responds within 10 business days, whether that's a straightforward acceptance, a request for revisions, or a decline.
Do I need an institutional affiliation to submit?
No. There's no institutional login required and no requirement to be affiliated with a university or organization — students, early-career researchers, and independent scholars are all welcome.
Ready to submit?
No submission fee, no institutional login — just your manuscript, abstract, and a short bio.
